Jennings finished with seven receptions (on eight targets) for 90 yards and a pair of scores in Sunday's 38-13 rout over the Bears. George Kittle led the 49ers in receiving yards (151) Sunday while Jennings took top honors in catches, targets and receiving touchdowns. The 27-year-old wideout continues to excel in a starting role for a San Francisco team that has lost several key players over the course of the season. Jennings is having a breakout season with a career-best line of 57-774-6 through 11 contests. He will attempt to build on those numbers in a potential high-scoring affair against the Rams on Thursday Night Football in Week 15.

Jauan Jennings Latest News
Breakout continues with two TDs
Leading receiver on three catches
Jennings brought in three of five targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Bills. Jennings wound up finishing as the 49ers' top receiving option on a night when the team totaled just 94 yards through the air. Harsh weather conditions limited what could have been a better game from the veteran receiver, who remains one of the few bright spots on a dwindling 49ers' active roster. Jennings warrants consideration in all formats given his role and an upcoming soft home matchup against Chicago.
Gains 40 yards with backup QB
Jennings caught five of seven targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Packers. The 49ers were without starting quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) on Sunday, limiting the output of all skill-position players not named George Kittle in a blowout loss to Green Bay. Jennings actually led the team's wideouts with his modest production, but it still left much to be desired based on his increased production in 2024. The four-year veteran will carry a 47-628-4 receiving line into next Sunday's road tilt against the Bills.
Posts WR1 numbers Sunday
Jennings corralled 10 of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 loss to Seattle. Jennings continues to thrive as a starter since being elevated to second on the depth chart coming out of the 49ers' Week 9 bye. The physical wideout is averaging 8.5 receptions, 92.0 yards and 11.0 targets in two games sans Brandon Aiyuk (knee). With defenses keying in on Deebo Samuel since his running mate was lost for the year, Jennings has elevated his play to mimic that of the superstar he is filling in for. The window to snag Jennings has likely closed in competitive formats, but managers should continue to ride the hot hand as the 49ers hit the road to face the Packers next Sunday.
Cleared to play
Jennings (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Seattle, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. A mid-week addition to the injury report, Jennings was at least a limited participant in each practice and apparently will be fine for Sunday's game. He led the 49ers in targets (11) and receiving yards (93) during last week's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay, handling 90 percent snap share and 92 percent route share after missing the previous two games with a hip injury.
Present at practice
Jennings (ankle) is present for Friday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Jennings was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant. It's unclear how much he'll do Friday, but his presence at least suggests he still has a chance to play Sunday against the Seahawks.
Tending to ankle injury
Jennings was limited at Thursday's practice due to an ankle injury, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Midweek additions to injury reports occasionally mean that health concerns were sustained in practice. It's unclear if this is the case for Jennings, but his status nonetheless will be watched closely to get a sense of his chances to suit up Sunday.
Leading receiver Sunday
Jennings (hip) finished with seven receptions (11 targets) for 93 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay. Jennings returned from a two-game absence (three weeks including the bye) and wound up leading the 49ers in receiving yards. The veteran slot man was also elevated to No. 2 on the depth chart following Brandon Aiyuk's (knee) season-ending injury, which occurred in the same contest Jennings suffered his hip injury. With good health and a larger role on offense, Jennings is looking like a hot pickup in fantasy for the second time this campaign. The 26-year-old can be considered a strong flex option heading into next Sunday's tilt against Seattle.
Cleared to return this week
Jennings (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports. Jennings will return from a two-game absence after upgrading to full practice participation at the end of the week. Meanwhile, Deebo Samuel (oblique/rib) is listed as questionable and Chris Conley (hamstring) ruled out, potentially giving Jennings a bigger role in the gameplan, although Samuel seems to be on track to play.
