Givens (pectoral) is active for Sunday night's game against the Falcons. The defensive tackle was activated from injured reserve Saturday after practicing in full throughout the week. Givens recorded 11 tackles (six solo), including 3.5 sacks, in eight games last season. He's in line for a rotational role again in his first game back.

The 49ers activated Givens (pectoral) from injured reserve Saturday. Givens started the regular season on injured reserve after sustaining a pectoral injury during training camp in early August. He was a full participant in practice all week, and his activation from IR indicates that he is on track to play against the Falcons on Sunday, though he's still listed as questionable.
