Latest Bulls News
Torrey Craig : Making first start of season
Craig is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports. Craig has played a minor role for the Bulls in 2024-25, appearing in just three of the team's games this far. However, he'll draw the start Wednesday in place of Patrick Williams (foot). Craig hasn't logged more than 11 minutes in a game this season, so it's unlikely he receives typical starter minutes.
Lonzo Ball : To spend next week rehabbing
Ball (wrist) "will need all of next week before he ramps up" to game action, coach Billy Donovan tells Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com. Ball appears set to miss Chicago's next 5-to-6 contests, trending in the direction of being unavailable until December. Ball has not played since Oct. 28, so Chicago's current rotation will remain the same.
Patrick Williams : Set for multi-game absence
Williams (foot) has already been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee and will also miss Chicago's back-to-back set Friday versus Atlanta and Saturday versus Memphis, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Williams is dealing with inflammation in his left foot, which is notable after the 23-year-old underwent left foot surgery in February to address what was originally diagnosed as an acute bone edema, then deemed a stress reaction. Williams' flare-up could help explain why he combined for just 15 points (5-19 FG) across his last two games, which came on the heels of averaging a healthy 14.0 points on 48.9 percent shooting -- including 50.0 percent of 4.8 three-point attempts per game -- across his last five contests. Tuesday against Washington represents his next opportunity to take the court.
Adama Sanogo : Won’t play Wednesday
Sanogo (knee) won't play Wednesday against the Bucks. Sanogo is battling some swelling in his right knee, and it's unclear how long he'll be sidelined. His next chance to return will be Friday against the Hawks.
Patrick Williams : Ruled out for Wednesday
Williams (foot) will not play Wednesday against the Bucks, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports. The Bulls are describing this as a precautionary absence, but it's worth noting that Williams stayed back in Chicago to undergo some imaging on his foot. For now, he should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Hawks. With Williams sidelined Wednesday, players such as Julian Phillips, Matas Buzelis and Torrey Craig will be candidates to see more run.
Patrick Williams : Iffy for Wednesday
Williams (foot) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Bucks. Williams continues to deal with bilateral foot soreness but being listed as questionable instead of probable indicates that he is more likely to miss Wednesday's contest than he was Monday. If Williams is ultimately forced to sit out, Julian Phillips, Matas Buzelis and Torrey Craig are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Zach LaVine : Knocks down seven triples
LaVine had 25 points (9-19 FG, 7-14 3Pt), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Monday's 122-112 victory over the Pistons. LaVine knocked down a season-high seven triples as the Bulls improved to 6-9 on the season. Despite Chicago's struggles, LaVine has been a bright spot with averages of 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 3.1 three-pointers through 12 appearances.
Josh Giddey : Notches third double-double
Giddey finished Monday's 122-112 win over Detroit with 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds and 10 assists over 29 minutes. Giddey was somewhat efficient on the offensive end and scored in double figures for the first time in a week. He also put together his best passing performance since Nov. 7, good enough for his third double-double of the 2024-25 campaign. There should be plenty of opportunities to rack up assists for Giddey moving forward, at least while Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine and Coby White all continue to play at a high level.
