Bo Scarbrough: Injury Status & Updates Championship Game



Bo Scarbrough had been the best offensive weapon for Alabama against Clemson in the National Championship Game. Alabama fans held their breath as Scarbrough went down late in the third quarter. It appeared his ankle got caught underneath a Clemson defender on a tackle. The Alabama medical staff worked on Scarbrough on the field after the play.

According to ESPN, Scarbrough suffered a lower leg injury and his return is questionable.

Scarbrough would eventually walk off the field under his own power but went back to the locker room to be evaluated. It is unknown whether he will return to the game. Heavy will continue to update you as more info is released.

He has battled injuries throughout his career. Scarbrough suffered a torn ACL in April 2015.

Prior to the injury, Scarbrough had 16 carries for 93 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
