Ward was checked for a concussion during Sunday's 23-20 win at Jacksonville. It's unclear if Ward has entered the protocol for head injuries, but if he does he'll need to pass through its five phases and gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to suit up again. He had six tackles, including a tackle for loss, before departing in the second half.
Dell brought in one of four targets for 23 yards and returned one punt for 14 yards in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Dell recorded his sole catch early in the fourth quarter, a reflection of how unusually quiet the speedy second-year wideout's afternoon was. Dell's target total also tied a season low, and his yardage was his fewest since Week 8. The 2023 third-round pick will now have a Week 14 bye to rest up before resuming a quest to snap what is now a five-game touchdown drought at the expense of the Dolphins in a Week 15 home matchup on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Schultz secured five of seven targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Despite missing time in the second half to be evaluated for a shoulder injury, Schultz was able to record his first touchdown since January's wild-card win over the Browns, finding the end zone on a 22-yard grab early in the fourth quarter. The veteran tight end finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon for the Texans, and his catch total matched a season high as well. Schultz now has a pair of five-reception totals in the last three games heading into a Week 14 bye.
Mixon rushed 20 times for 101 yards and a touchdown and brought in four of six targets for 18 yards in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Mixon managed to get over the 100-yard mark on the ground for the seventh time this season on his final carry of the day coming out of the two-minute warning, an eight-yard run that fittingly sealed the hard-fought win for Houston. The veteran back managed his 11th rushing touchdown of the campaign on a seven-yard run just before the halfway point of the third quarter, and he tied for his second-highest reception total of the season as well. Mixon will head into a Week 14 bye just 113 rushing yards short of his fifth career 1,000-yard campaign, a milestone he'll look to hit at the expense of the Dolphins in a Week 15 home matchup on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Collins secured eight of 11 targets for 119 yards in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Collins found himself in the customary position of leading the Texans in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, posting his best numbers in those categories since Week 4 in the process. Collins has been on an upward trajectory since returning from a five-game absence due to a hamstring injury, as he's now upped all three components of his receiving line over that of the previous game in consecutive contests. Collins will look to make inroads against a talented Dolphins secondary in a Week 15 home matchup on Sunday, Dec. 15 following a Week 14 bye.
Stroud completed 22 of 34 passes for 242 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and added five rushes for seven yards in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Stroud put together a solid performance that saw him spread the ball around to seven different targets and put together his first interception-free effort in the last four games. Stroud connected with Dalton Schultz from 22 yards out early in the fourth quarter for his only touchdown of the game, and he's now thrown for at least 232 yards in four consecutive contests while generating a 4:5 TD:INT in that same span. Stroud and the Texans next host the Dolphins for a Week 15 matchup on Sunday, Dec. 15 following a Week 14 bye.
Hutchinson (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans. Hutchinson will miss his first game of the season after he was a limited participant in practice throughout the week due to the shoulder injury. With Hutchinson donning street clothes Week 13, Robert Woods and Jared Wayne will serve as the Texans' depth receivers behind the starting wideout trio of Nico Collins, Tank Dell and John Metchie.
