Jamal Hill: Everything you need to know

Hill (calf) was a full participant in Friday's practice. Hill upgraded to a full participant Friday after being limited in Thursday's practice due to a calf injury he likely sustained in a Week 18 practice. The linebacker missed Week 18 due to the issue but seems set to suit up for Monday night's wild-card matchup with the Steelers. The 24-year-old is set to be the primary depth option at outside linebacker behind starters Henry To'oTo'o and E.J. Speed.

Hill (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports. Hill missed time with a hamstring injury recently and will now miss his second straight contest with the calf issue. A special-teams fixture for Houston, Hill has produced six tackles (five solo) across 239 snaps in kick coverage.

Hill (wrist) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Chargers. Hill was unavailable for each of the team's final two practices of the week with a wrist injury, and he'll now be forced to miss Week 17 with the injury. The linebacker's absence will carry the most impact on Houston's special-teams unit.
