Over his last 10 games, Pritchard is averaging 15.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 3.8 three-pointers.

Latest Celtics News
Payton Pritchard : Quiet in loss
Pritchard finished with seven points (3-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Monday's 108-104 loss to the Magic. Pritchard was held to single-digit points for the second game in a row. His production can be sporadic when the Celtics are healthy, but he's had a strong December overall. Over his last 10 games, Pritchard is averaging 15.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 3.8 three-pointers.
Sam Hauser : Receives light minutes in return
Hauser (back) played 16 minutes off the bench and finished with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in Monday's 108-104 loss to the Magic. Even though Jayson Tatum (illness) was a late scratch from Monday's contest, Hauser was unable to carve out a significant role off the bench as he made his return from a two-game absence due to low back spasms. Rather than opening up more playing time on the second unit for Hauser and sixth man Payton Pritchard, the Celtics leaned heavily on their starters and also expanded the role of Luke Kornet, who logged 20 minutes. Hauser looks like he might need the Celtics to be without at least two starters in order to see enough playing time to make him a useful streaming option for three-pointers in a given game.
Jaylen Brown : Dominates with 35-point performance
Brown provided 35 points (15-29 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and three steals across 37 minutes during Monday's 108-104 loss to the Magic. Brown stepped up in the absence of Jayson Tatum (illness) in Monday's contest, leading all Celtics in scoring and rebounds while posting team-high-tying marks in assists and steals in an all-around showcase. Brown posted his second game of the season with 35 or more points, falling two points short of his season-high 37 points tallied Nov. 12.
Derrick White : Leads from deep in two-way outing
White racked up 17 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists and three steals over 40 minutes during Monday's 108-104 loss to Orlando. White did a little bit of everything for Boston in Monday's defeat, leading all Celtics in three made while securing team-high-tying marks in assists and steals in a well-rounded performance. White tied a season high in steals, a total he has recorded in two other contests. White has tallied 15 or more points in four of his last five outings.
Al Horford : Nears double figures in start
Horford recorded eight points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 108-104 loss to the Magic. Horford got the starting nod Monday with Jayson Tatum (illness) inactive, contributing both on the glass and offensively while finishing two points shy of the double-digit mark. Horford has started in 19 games this season, securing at least five points and five rebounds in 10 of those outings. Expect Horford to return to the bench when Tatum is able to return to the starting five.
Jayson Tatum : Officially ruled out
Tatum (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Magic, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. Tatum was removed from the starting lineup and added to the injury report just minutes before Monday's tipoff due to illness. While he never joined the Celtics' bench, the team waited until halftime to officially rule him out. Al Horford, Sam Hauser and Luke Kornet should continue to see more action while Tatum is unavailable. Tatum's next chance to play will come Wednesday against Philadelphia.
Jayson Tatum : Removed from starting lineup
Tatum (illness) is no longer part of the starting lineup for Monday's game against Orlando but remains questionable, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Tatum was added to the Celtics' injury report minutes before the game's scheduled tipoff and is no longer part of the starting lineup. He's yet to be ruled out, but it appears as though Tatum won't take the floor Monday. Al Horford stepped into the first unit in place of Tatum. Sam Hauser and Xavier Tillman could also see an expanded role if Tatum doesn't play.
Al Horford : Late addition to starting lineup
Horford is in the Celtics' starting lineup for Monday's game against Orlando, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Horford will take Jayson Tatum's place in the starting five, with the latter being a late addition to the injury report due to a non-COVID illness. Monday will be Horford's 19th start of the 2024-25 regular season.
