The Dolphins placed Berrios (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. Berrios sustained a knee injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Colts, and being placed on IR on Monday suggests the issue is significant. The 29-year-old will now be forced to miss the Dolphins' next four games, with his earliest possible return coming in Week 12 against the Patriots. After Berrios' placement on IR, the Dolphins have just four wide receivers on their active roster: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Odell Beckham and rookie Malik Washington. Expect De'Von Achane and Washington to serve as Miami's top kick and punt returners, respectively, until Berrios can return.

Lands on IR
Might have significant injury
Berrios' left-knee injury might be "significant," Josh Moser of WSVN-TV in Miami reports. Miami's punt and kick returner will get an MRI on his knee Monday, per Moser. Berrios suffered the injury during Sunday's loss to the Colts. De'Von Achane and Malik Washington might be next in line to handle return duties for the Dolphins.
Won't return vs. Indy
Berrios (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Colts. Berrios was injured during a kickoff return in the fourth quarter. He'll end the day with 26 kick-return yards and 18 punt-return yards. De'Von Achane and Malik Washington are candidates to handle return duties for the rest of Sunday's game.
Will play Week 5
Berrios (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Berrios practiced fully Friday after limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday to gain clearance for Sunday's showdown between AFC East cellar dwellers. He'll play his usual role in the slot while returning both kickoffs and punts, but Miami's ceiling on offense remains low with Tyler Huntley set to start under center, and most of Huntley's throws will likely be directed to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Limited Wednesday
Berrios (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Berrios appears to have sustained an ankle injury during the Dolphins' Week 4 loss to the Titans, despite playing 26 total snaps (14 offensive and 12 on special teams) and logging 27 punt-return yards. The Miami product's participation Thursday and Friday will provide a better indication of his potential availability in Week 5, as the Dolphins travel to New England.
Not targeted in Week 4 loss
Berrios was not targeted during Miami's 31-12 loss to the Titans on Monday night. Berrios logged his first game of the regular season without a target Monday. He remains without a catch through four appearances, though, despite having drawn four targets combined in the first three weeks of the season. Berrios, and the Dolphins' passing game as a whole, will look to bounce back Sunday in a road divisional matchup against the Patriots.
Can't secure only target Week 3
Berrios did not catch his only target during Sunday's 24-3 loss to the Seahawks. Berrios remains without a catch through three regular-season games, though he has been targeted four times. He made a bigger impact on special teams versus Seattle, returning one kickoff for 31 yards and one punt for 44 yards. He'll look to make more of his opportunities on offense versus Tennessee on Sunday.
Held without a catch again
Berrios could not secure his only target during Thursday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. Berrios has yet to record a catch through two contests this season, with three targets in that span. Notably, both Grant DuBose and Robbie Chosen (practice squad elevation) drew more targets than Berrios Thursday. He's dropped off the fantasy radar in even deeper formats heading into a Week 3 road matchup against Seattle.
Can't secure either of two targets
Berrios failed to secure either of his two targets during the Dolphins' 20-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Berrios was unable to make an impact in the receiving game despite working as the No. 3 wideout behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. He did return two punts for two yards. Berrios' next chance to produce will come Week 2 on Thursday versus Buffalo, though his opportunities could dip if rookie Malik Washington (oblique) manages to get healthy enough to make his NFL debut.
