Mike Morris: Breaking News

Morris (concussion) wasn't listed on Seattle's injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Morris suffered a concussion during the team's preseason loss to the Packers in August but is now healthy again. The 2023 fifth-round pick is expected to serve as a backup defensive end and will likely contribute on special teams as well once the regular season begins.

Morris was placed in concussion protocol Monday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Morris appears to have suffered a concussion during the team's 20-7 preseason loss to the Packers on Saturday. The defensive lineman will have just under two weeks to clear protocol before the team's season opener against the 49ers on Sept. 7.

Morris (leg) started Seattle's preseason game against the Raiders on Thursday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports. Morris suffered a leg injury Tuesday during practice and was seen with ice around his left leg. The issue turned out to not be severe, as he was able to suit up two days later in Seattle's first preseason contest.
