Trey Jemison: Breaking News

Jemison had two points (1-2 FG) and one steal across six minutes during Friday's 118-80 loss to Detroit. Jemison moved into the rotation for just the ninth time this season, closing the game as a result of an embarrassing loss to the Pistons. Although Jemison has suited up for three of the past four games, there is no reason to think that he will be playing a meaningful role moving forward. He can be ignored in all redraft formats.

Jemison ended with five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 18 minutes during Thursday's 114-113 win over the Pacers. Jemison took advantage of his few opportunities and recorded his most minutes this season. The Knicks were without Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) on Thursday, so it's unlikely Jemison, who's operating on a two-way deal, will take on a major role moving forward. However, he could be a reliable option for rebounds when included in the rotation.

Jemison is listed in the starting lineup for Friday's exhibition with Charlotte. Jemison should get all the run he can handle Friday, with Mitchell Robinson (rest), Karl-Anthony Towns (quad) and Ariel Hukporti (illness) all set to watch from the bench. Through four preseason games, Jemison has compiled averages of 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per contest.
