Cam Hart: Breaking News

Breaks up 11 passes

Hart finished the 2025 regular season with 48 tackles (37 solo) and 11 pass breakups, including one interception, across 16 games. The second-year corner didn't always start in 2025 (six of 16 regular-season games), but he did usually play, seeing the field for more than 50 percent of the defensive snaps in 14 of his 16 contests. Hart took on a similar role as a rookie in 2024, finishing the regular season with 37 tackles (28 solo) and seven pass breakups. The 2024 fifth-round pick has two years left on his rookie deal.

Looking good for Sunday

Hart (hip) was a full participant at practice Wednesday. Hart was forced to miss Sunday's game versus the Broncos due to a nagging hip issue, but it now seems like he's back to full strength ahead of a Sunday matchup against the Giants. He figures to settle back in as one of the Chargers' top three cornerbacks in Week 4.

Unable to suit up Sunday

Hart (hip) is inactive for Sunday's Week 3 battle against the Broncos. Hart was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, but that won't be enough for him to take the field Sunday. Benjamin St-Juste is getting a start at cornerback in Hart's stead.
