Ricky White: Everything you need to know

White signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. The wide receiver appeared in two regular-season games for Seattle in 2025, playing on 13 offensive snaps and nine special-teams snaps. He did not record a catch. White was a seventh-round pick of the team in 2025.

The Seahawks reverted White to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. White was elevated for the second straight week ahead of Sunday's win against Arizona. The rookie wideout logged six offensive snaps without getting any targets or touches and also played four snaps on special teams. Both Tory Horton (groin/shin) and Jake Bobo (calf) missed Sunday's contest, and White's chances of getting elevated again this Sunday versus the Rams could depend on the health of those two players.

White was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Ari Horton of the Seahawks' official site reports. White has now been elevated for a second consecutive week, meaning he has one more elevation before he will need to be signed to the active roster to suit up. The rookie seventh-round pick will have a better shot to contribute to the offense and special teams units behind wide receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cody White if Cooper Kupp (hamstring) and Tory Horton (groin/shin) are unable to go.
