TreVeyon Henderson has had an impressive rookie season, and the running back is being rewarded for his efforts.
On Wednesday, the NFL announced that Henderson was named the Offensive Rookie of the Month for November. He is the first Patriots running back to win this honor and becomes the third player overall to win Rookie of the Month, with quarterback Mac Jones having been the last Patriots player to win the award in 2021.
It has also been an impressive showing for Ohio State alumni this year, with wide receiver Emeka Egbuka having won Rookie of the Month in September.
With four rushing and one receiving touchdowns, Henderson leads all rookies this month in scoring, also averaging 102.8 scrimmage yards per game in November, which is the most by a rookie in a month this season. For the entire month, he finished with 330 yards on 65 carries, along with 13 receptions for 81 yards.
His best game in November was in Week 10 when the Patriots defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he ran for 147 yards. And in that, he had two big touchdown runs, one for 55 yards and another for 69 yards.
Henderson was drafted by the Patriots in the second round with the 38th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
That’s Not The Only Award TreVeyon Henderson Won
Henderson was also named the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Week for his performance in the team’s win over the New York Giants. Fans were asked to vote for one of six players, and in the end, it was Henderson who received the most votes.
The rookie finished with 11 carries for 67 yards in the victory.
“I have definitely been getting more comfortable this season as well,” Henderson told reporters after the win. “Getting more reps, getting more opportunities, different looks, going up against different players.”
And with that, he spoke about his adjustment to the NFL.
“Each level is always going to be an adjustment you have to make,” he added. “High school to college, college to NFL. There are always going to be things you’ve got to adapt to. Game is getting faster, guys are bigger, guys are stronger. So, eventually you get accustomed to it.”
Patriots QB Drake Maye Also Recently Won An Award

GettyDrake Maye kept things rolling on Monday night.
Drake “Drake Maye” Maye is all the craze this season, being an MVP favorite as he has helped the Patriots to an 11-2 record. And following the team’s primetime win against the Giants, Maye was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL.
Maye nearly recorded his first 300 yard game of the season, but fell just short finishing with 282 passing yards on 24-of-34 completions along with two passing touchdowns. And one of those touchdowns was a beautiful 33 yard deep ball to rookie receiver Kyle Williams in the second quarter.
This was the first time Maye earned this honor in his NFL career, and he has the opportunity to add to his all-star season in the team’s Week 15 game against the Buffalo Bills as they can clinch the AFC East for the first time since 2019.
