Taylor Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Christmas game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium, and the event may mark the final home game for her future husband, tight end Travis Kelce. While the Chiefs have enjoyed success and championship wins in the Patrick Mahomes era, this season, the team is out of the playoffs, so their run won’t run into late January.
It was a no-brainer that Swift would attend Kelce’s Christmas game. For one, why wouldn’t she want to spend the holiday cheering on her man? Plus, Swift has been a regular at Kelce’s games at Arrowhead Stadium since they started dating in 2023, so it would have been an oddity for her not to attend.
But, Swift has been keeping an extra low profile at Kansas City Chiefs games this year. She’s had security concerns in general, which is why she doesn’t attend away games, but even at Arrowhead Stadium, she’s been sneaking into games without the cameras on here. So, on Christmas, news didn’t surface until later that Swift was at the game, but when it did, all eyes were on her and viewers couldn’t help but notice one thing.

Swift has been getting people talking about, of all things, the outfit she wore at the Chiefs’ Christmas game. As usual, she had total Chiefs pride with the clothing, donning the team’s prized colors.
According to a Friday, December 26 piece from In Style magazine, “The global superstar cheered on Kelce and his team from her suite at Arrowhead Stadium in a very festive ‘fit that included a bright red bomber jacket by Frankie Shop over a black top, black miniskirt, black tights, and black knee-high boots.”
In Style added, “Keeping it monochromatic, Swift carried a black Louis Vuitton Express PM bag (which retails for $4,200), rocked her signature red lip, and sported dangling earrings and, of course, her engagement ring by Artifex Fine. She was joined by her parents, Scott Swift and Andrea Swift, as she watched the game.”
Andrea matched with Swift in a red top with a black cardigan and pants, which was a nice touch.
Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce Talks Retirement
The elephant in the room, so to speak, for any room that Kelce is in is whether or not he’ll decide to retire after the 2025-26 season. On December 25, right before the game, Netflix aired an interview between Kelce and Tony Gonzalez. In the interview, the two talked about Kelce’s retirement decision.
Even though he hasn’t made up his mind, he gave hope in the interview that he might not retire just yet. “I think I’m still searching for those answers,” Kelce said when asked about the decision. “Obviously, the way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth.”
Kelce continued, “I feel motivated, but I’ve got to make the right decision for me. I’ve got to hope that if I do want to come back that the Chiefs are willing to bring me back. It’s a two-way street on that.”
