The 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am stands as one of the premier early-season tournaments on the PGA TOUR calendar. Now in its third year as a Signature Event, this distinctive tournament brings together elite professionals with amateur partners in one of golf’s most scenic and challenging venues: Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill on California’s Monterey Peninsula.
Unlike regular TOUR events, whose fields typically drop after a 36-hole cut, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am features 80 professionals and 80 amateurs, with no cut and guaranteed rounds for every player. That format, combined with Signature Event status, translates into one of the richest prize funds of the season – a total $20 million purse.

Bhatia’s Possible Redemption

For Bhatia, the opportunity is layered. A victory would mark another major milestone in his young PGA Tour career, but doing it at Pebble Beach, the site of one of his most painful amateur memories, would add a powerful sense of closure. Eight years ago, during the U.S. Amateur Championship, Bhatia saw a winning hole erased after his caddie unknowingly accepted a ride to the green from someone believed to be a rules official, resulting in a penalty that ultimately cost him the match.
“What can you do? I’ll have plenty of opportunities to play in this tournament, so I’m not too upset about it,” Bhatia said at the time. “It’s just frustrating because I deserved to win that match. That wasn’t the outcome I wanted, but I can’t do anything about it.”
Since then, the rule prohibiting such transportation, now known as Model Local Rule G-6, was updated to give tournament committees more discretion, including the ability to retroactively approve rides accepted under a reasonable mistaken belief.
