On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will have their season on the line when they face off against the Phoenix Suns (in Arizona).
The Warriors won their first play-in tournament game over the LA Clippers by a score of 126-121 (on Wednesday).
Quinten Post did not play in Wednesday’s game, as he has been out since last month.

For Friday’s game, the Warriors have announced that they will remain without Post.

Post finished the regular season with averages of 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 44.0% from the field and 33.6% from three-point range in 67 games.
He is in his second season in the NBA (all with the Warriors).

Post played five seasons of college basketball for Mississippi State and Boston College.
He finished his final year with (Boston College) averaging 17.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 51.4% from the field and 43.1% from three-point range in 35 games.

Warriors And Suns Ahead Of Friday
Despite a notable roster, the Warriors had a tough regular season as the tenth seed with a 37-45 record.
They are 16-26 in the 42 games they have played on the road.
Last season, the Warriors lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The Suns were the seventh seed during the regular season with a 45-37 record.
They are 25-17 in 42 games at home in Arizona.
Whoever wins Friday’s game will advance to the 2026 NBA playoffs as the eighth seed (and play the OKC Thunder in the first round).
