Alder Almo is a veteran NBA reporter based in Jersey City, New Jersey, with over 20 years of experience across local and international media. He currently covers the NBA for Heavy Sports, with a focus on the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, as well as the WNBA.

A member of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA), Almo has been credentialed by the NBA since 2021. He has covered the NBA Finals in 2022 and 2024 and has reported on major international sporting events, including Manny Pacquiao boxing fights, the Asian Games and the Philippines’ national basketball team.

Alder Almo graduated from the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and religious studies.
