Sonny Giuliano is a sports journalist covering the NFL with focus on the Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals for Heavy.com. He has over a decade of experience covering not only the NFL, but College Football, NBA, and College Basketball as well.
Sonny previously served as a Writer at FanSided, Writer / Editor / Podcaster at Hardwood and Hollywood, and an Associate Editor at ClutchPoints. He also worked as a Game Writer on EA Sports’ Madden NFL titles from 2020 to 2023. Quite literally, he was In The Game.
Currently, Sonny is covering SEC football with two weekly columns at Saturday Down South, and he's serving as the Site Expert at FanSided's Houston Texans website Toro Times. Additionally, starting October 17th, he'll be co-hosting a new basketball podcast, The NBA Campfire.
Education
Sonny Giuliano graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Communication. While the FGCU men’s basketball team was putting itself on the map in 2013 as ‘Dunk City,’ Sonny was busy competing for intramural basketball titles, so he was basically on the team.
