Jasrado Chisholm: Breaking News

Chisholm went 2-for-4 in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Red Sox. Chisholm's box score didn't bear much fruit, but it was notable since it snapped a 1-for-12 skid and was his first multi-hit game of the 2026 season. It only took him 23 team games to accomplish the feat. Chisholm has been dropped to seventh in the order in recent days and is slashing just .182/.276/.247 with zero home runs, three RBI, six runs scored, eight stolen bases and a 9:27 BB:K across 87 plate appearances.

Chisholm is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals. The Yankees will send the left-handed-hitting Chisholm to the bench for the second time in five games while the team is in the midst of a stretch that has been heavy on matchups with left-handed starting pitchers. Amed Rosario will step in at the keystone in place of Chisholm, who went hitless in each of his last three starts but drew a combined five walks and added a stolen base.

Chisholm is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels. Along with fellow left-handed hitters Ben Rice and Cody Bellinger, Chisholm will hit the bench while the Angels send southpaw Reid Detmers to the bump for the second game of the series. After starting at third base in Monday's 11-10 win in the series opener, Amed Rosario will remain in the lineup Tuesday as Chisholm's replacement at the keystone.
