Wiles was knocked around in his lone appearance with Atlanta in 2025, allowing three runs over one inning of work in his major-league debut. The 27-year-old pitched well at Triple-A Gwinnett, collecting a 3.04 ERA and 105:34 K:BB across 112.2 frames. Wiles has experience as a starter and as a reliever.
Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday. He's clearing out to make room on the roster for waiver claim Joel Payamps, who officially reported to the team Tuesday. Wiles' stint in the majors lasted one week and he did not make an appearance.
