The Yankees optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday. The Yankees recalled De Los Santos from Triple-A ahead of Wednesday's contest, and he'll now return to the minors after striking out five batters over 3.1 innings against Texas. The 28-year-old right-hander now owns a 1.69 ERA through 5.1 innings in the bigs this season and could return to New York later in the year if/when the Yankees need length out of the bullpen.

Rejoins big-league bullpen

The Yankees recalled De Los Santos from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday. He will give the bullpen a fresh arm after the Yankees' relief corps was needed for 4.1 innings in Tuesday's win over the Rangers. De Los Santos holds a 3.35 ERA and 29:19 K:BB over 37.2 innings since the start of the 2025 campaign with the Yanks.

The Yankees optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday. De Los Santos was brought up from Triple-A before Tuesday's game against the Angels, and he'll now head back to the minors after giving up one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out one batter over two innings. The 28-year-old made 25 appearances for the Yankees last season and could be called upon again later in the year to provide the big club with bullpen depth.
