The broadcasting teams have been announced for the latest UFC on Fuel TV event.
UFC on Fuel TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier takes place Tuesday at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. It is the UFC’s second visit to the venue, and the card will be the third to be broadcast on the Fuel TV cable network. The event is headlined by a featherweight contenders fight between “The Korean Zombie,” Chan Sung Jung, and Dustin Poirier. The card also features a welterweight bout between “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 7 winner Amir Sadollah and Wanderlei Silva protege Jorge Lopez and a lightweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Jeremy Stephens.
UFC “B” broadcast team play-by-play voice Jon Anik will be joined by UFC veteran and co-host of “UFC Tonight” Kenny Florian for Tuesday’s live coverage on Fuel TV. In addition, Ariel Helwani will conduct backstage fighter interviews as part of Fuel’s coverage.
While Anik and Florian will call the live action in Virginia, Fuel’s pre- and post-fight shows will be hosted by Jay Glazer with analysis from former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and top middleweight contender Chael Sonnen.
