Johnson vs. Castillo set for UFC 151
A lightweight contest between Michael Johnson and Danny Castillo is official for UFC 151.
The promotion confirmed the match up on Wednesday.
Johnson, the runner-up from season 12 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” last competed at “UFC on FOX 3,” defeating Tony Ferguson via unanimous decision. He is 3-2 in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Castillo, like Johnson, also is a five-fight UFC veteran, debuting in March of 2011 with a decision win over Joe Stevenson. At 4-1, his lone loss came against Jacob Volkmann, while he extended his two-fight winning streak since the loss to three with a decision win over John Cholish this May.
UFC 151 is set for September 1 with a main event between light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and top contender Dan Henderson.
