Agrees to sign with Portland

Reese (Achilles) and the Trail Blazers agreed to a deal Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Portland is working on filling out its roster for training camp, bringing in Reese this fall. The 26-year-old forward will likely be vying for a two-way spot ahead of the new campaign. Last season, Reese averaged 5.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in 14.4 minutes per game across time with the 76ers and Thunder.

Waived by Philadelphia

Reese (Achilles) was waived by the 76ers on Saturday. Reese had missed some Summer League action with the 76ers due to Achilles soreness and will now look to catch on with a new team. The forward appeared in 15 regular-season NBA games during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game across stints with the Thunder and 76ers.

Fails to appear Thursday

Reese (Achilles) didn't play in Thursday's Summer League game against the Spurs. Reese has now missed the last three Summer League matchups due to Achilles soreness. His next opportunity to see the court will arrive Saturday against Charlotte.
