Charles Bediako: Everything you need to know

The Pistons waived Bediako on Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Bediako lasted 16 days on the Pistons' roster, but he had no real shot at making the Opening Night rotation out of training camp and preseason. There's a big chance they signed him just to secure his G League rights for the 2025-26 campaign, as he's expected to play for the Motor City Cruise.

Bediako is listed on Detroit's training camp roster, Coty M. Davis of The Detroit News reports. Bediako is likely on an Exhibit 10 deal for Detroit. He was a standout for the Grand Rapids Gold in 2024-25, and the Pistons are likely trying to secure his G League rights.

The Nuggets waived Bediako on Wednesday, per the NBA transaction log. As expected, Bediako won't make Denver's regular-season roster after spending training camp with the team on a non-guaranteed deal. An undrafted free agent in 2023, Bediako has yet to appear in an NBA regular-season game. He'll likely play for the Nuggets G League affiliate in 2024-25.
