Okeke posted 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt), 15 rebounds, two assists and one block across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 133-100 loss to the Thunder. Okeke produced easily his best performance of the season, recording a double-double in just his fourth game played. After having signed his second 10-day deal with the 76ers only days earlier, Okeke saw an uptick in both playing time and production, making the most of the fact that Philadelphia has thrown in the towel this season. Moving forward, it's hard to know what their rotation will look like and whether it will feature Okeke.
The 76ers signed Okeke to a 10-day contract Saturday, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports. It's the second 10-day contract that Okeke has received from the 76ers. His lone appearance came Feb. 7 against the Pistons, when he logged one rebound in two minutes of playing time. He was waived before the All-Star break, but with the 76ers dealing with a plethora of injuries, Okeke finds himself back on the roster and could see more minutes in his second go around.
The 76ers waived Okeke from his 10-day contract Thursday, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. The Sixers will waive the 26-year-old after converting Jared Butler's two-way contract into a standard deal. Okeke appeared in only one contest during his 10-day contract, recording one rebound across two minutes in a loss to Detroit on Feb. 7. Okeke averaged 16.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.5 blocks across 36.7 minutes per contest in 33 outings with the G League's Westchester Knicks before latching on with Philadelphia. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Auburn product return to the G League during the 2024-25 campaign.

He's since been playing for the Westchester Knicks in the G League. The 76ers have a number of injuries right now, so Okeke could provide the team with some emergency depth up front.
The Knicks waived Okeke on Saturday. Okeke couldn't crack the Opening Night roster, and now the forward will look for an opportunity elsewhere. He spent the previous four years of his career with the Magic, making 55 starts and 189 regular-season appearances with them.
Okeke and the Knicks agreed to a training camp deal Wednesday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. The Knicks waived Okeke in order to process the Karl-Anthony Towns trade. However, they will bring Okeke back to camp to give the forward a chance to make the final roster.

The Knicks have been active over the last few days when it comes to trimming their roster down, and outside of parting ways with several players in the trade that saw them acquire Karl-Anthony Towns, they've now waived both Okeke and Marcus Morris. Okeke could pursue an opportunity with another franchise, but if not, he could suit up for the Westchester Knicks in the G League.

Okeke averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 9.2 minutes across 47 appearances, including eight starts, for the Mgaic in 2023-24. Now, the 25-year-old forward will have the opportunity to compete for depth minutes in New York's rotation.
