The Trail Blazers waived Graham on Thursday. Despite spending the preseason and training camp with the Trail Blazers, Graham was unable to make the regular-season roster. He will now enter the 2024-25 season as a free agent.

Inks deal with Portland

The Trail Blazers signed Graham to a one-year deal Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Graham was recently traded to the Hornets from the Spurs, and he was waived before striking a deal with the Blazers in free agency. The 29-year-old appeared in only 23 games for San Antonio last season, during which he averaged 5.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds with a career-low 13.6 minutes. Graham could potentially revitalize his career with the rebuilding club; however, he will likely have to compete for minutes with Anfernee Simons, Dalano Banton, Shaedon Sharpe and Kris Murray.

The Spurs are trading Graham and a second-round pick to the Hornets on Saturday, but he is expected to be waived and become a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Graham will be traded from the Spurs after a little over a season with the club.
