Cut loose by Timberwolves

The Timberwolves waived Juzang on Wednesday, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports. Juzang signed a two-way contract with Minnesota in the offseason, but he saw limited NBA action. The fourth-year guard averaged 4.2 minutes across 21 appearances. Juzang had an impressive 2024-25 season with the Jazz, averaging 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 19.8 minutes spanning 64 appearances.

Season-high 10 minutes

Juzang provided three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound and one block across 10 minutes during Friday's 119-115 loss to the Pelicans. Juzang played a season-high 10 minutes, highlighting just what a struggle it has been for him to get meaningful court time this year. In 21 regular-season appearances, he has averaged just 2.0 points in 4.2 minutes per game. He has no appeal, even in deeper fantasy formats.

Another garbage time appearance

Juzang closed with 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist over eight minutes during Wednesday's 126-102 loss to the Hawks. Juzang remained in the rotation, albeit for yet another garbage-time appearance. While he has now played in each of the past four games, he has logged a total of just 15 minutes. There is nothing noteworthy here, meaning Juzang can be ignored in all leagues at this point.
