Joshua Primo: Breaking News

Waived by Chicago

The Bulls waived Primo on Thursday, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Primo didn't even last 24 hours with the Bulls, as he was signed earlier Thursday and then was immediately waived. Primo is currently rehabbing from an undisclosed injury and is expected to play for the Windy City Bulls in the G League.

Headed to Chicago

The Bulls signed Primo to an Exhibit 10 contract Thursday, Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic reports. Primo hasn't received significant NBA minutes since his rookie year in 2021-22. Still, the 21-year-old guard will be given the opportunity to make Chicago's regular-season roster.

Let go by Clippers

The Clippers waived Primo (ankle) on Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Primo is being cut loose to make room on the 15-man roster for Kai Jones, who agreed to a multi-year deal with the Clippers ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Rockets. Primo averaged just 1.0 points in 5.0 minutes across two appearances with the Clippers and hasn't played at the NBA or G League level since March 24 due to a left ankle sprain.
