Johnson ended with 25 points (9-18 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 119-102 loss to the Wizards. Players like Cameron Johnson and D'Angelo Russell struggled Wednesday, but Johnson stepped up and led the Nets in scoring with an excellent display. The former Tennessee standout has scored at least 20 points in four of his last seven appearances, averaging 18.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in that span.

Keon Johnson Latest News
Goes for 25 points in loss

Johnson ended with 25 points (9-18 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 119-102 loss to the Wizards. Players like Cameron Johnson and D'Angelo Russell struggled Wednesday, but Johnson stepped up and led the Nets in scoring with an excellent display. The former Tennessee standout has scored at least 20 points in four of his last seven appearances, averaging 18.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in that span.
Scores team-high 22 points

Johnson racked up 22 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 99-97 victory over the Rockets. Johnson led the Nets with 22 points, the third time in the past six games he has tallied at least 20 points. Brooklyn has now won three straight games, including back-to-back wins against the Rockets. Despite the constant uncertainty surrounding the rotation in Brooklyn, Johnson's role has remained relatively consistent. He has started seven straight games and 28 of the past 29.
Tallies double-digits in loss

Johnson registered 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes during Monday's 110-96 loss to Sacramento. Johnson scored double-digits for the third straight game, albeit barely. As with most of his teammates, Johnson's role from one night to the next is hard to get a read on. Over the past two weeks, his playing time has gone from 19 minutes all the way up to 37 minutes. With very little consistency, it is hard to know who will step up on any given night.
Steps up with team-high 20 points

Johnson ended Wednesday's 108-84 loss to Phoenix with a team-high 20 points (9-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes. With most of Brooklyn's starters in street clothes Wednesday, Johnson gave the injury-riddled team a lift with a team-high 20 points, albeit in a losing effort. The former first-rounder has seen an extended run with this rebuilding club lately, averaging 12.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 27.5 minutes over his last 11 games. Since his nightly usage mostly depends on who is healthy for the Nets, however, Johnson is likely to remain a hit-or-miss fantasy option going forward.
Returns to starting unit

Johnson is in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Knicks. Johnson will replace Ziaire Williams (ankle) in the starting lineup Tuesday. Johnson is averaging 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 28.0 minutes across his last 10 starting appearances.
Headed to bench

Johnson is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Thunder. Johnson will head back to his regular bench role due to the return of Cameron Johnson. The former Tennessee star will come off the bench for the first time since Dec. 1. He's averaging 5.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game when playing on the second unit.
Scores 20 points Tuesday

Johnson posted 20 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 132-114 win over the Trail Blazers. Johnson has reached the 20-point mark just three times all season, so the fact that he's done it twice over the Nets' last three outings is encouraging. The former Tennessee standout has been better than expected since moving to a starting role in December. He made his first start of the campaign Dec. 2 and hasn't looked back, averaging 11.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game as a starter (19 games).
Leads team with 22 points

Johnson chipped in 22 points (8-21 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 124-105 loss to the Nuggets. The Nets were outplayed and overworked Friday evening, but Johnson did his best to keep the team above water. Numerous injuries have thrust Johnson into an expanded role, and Friday's result marked his second-highest scoring total of the season. The The Tennessee product will continue to be a key part of the offense while the Nets limp through the schedule.
Productive in loss

Johnson posted 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and four steals in 32 minutes during Monday's 113-99 loss to the Pacers. With the Nets dealing with several injuries and unloading some veterans via trade recently, Johnson has become a popular pickup in fantasy basketball. Over his last eight appearances, he's been very productive with averages of 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 31.7 minutes per contest.
