Kyle Mangas: Breaking News
Released by Indy
The Pacers waived Mangas on Monday, Sam Amico of HoopsWire.com reports. Mangas was released by the club after being signed to an Exhibit 10 deal Wednesday. The Pacers still hold Mangas' G League rights, and the 25-year-old will likely return to play for the club's G League affiliate, the Indiana Mad Ants. Mangas spent the 2023-24 campaign with the Mad Ants, during which he averaged 18.0 points, 3.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 34.0 minutes in 34 regular-season games.
Will return to Indiana
Mangas signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers on Wednesday, Tony East of SI.com reports. Mangas averaged 16.9 points per game for the G League's Indiana Mad Ants last season. He'll compete for an NBA spot during training camp, but if waived, the Pacers will retain his G League rights, so he'll presumably wind up with the Mad Ants to begin the 2024-25 campaign.
