Waived by New York

The Knicks waived Ryan on Saturday. Ryan, who signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Knicks back on Sept. 16, was considered a long shot to make the team. Ryan is likely to suit up for the Westchester Knicks in the G League.

Signs Exhibit 10 deal

Ryan agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Knicks on Tuesday. Ryan will rejoin the Knicks and compete for a spot on the team's regular-season roster, though it's more likely that he'll join their G League affiliate in Westchester for the 2025-26 campaign. The 28-year-old swingman signed a two-way deal with the club in December 2024 before being waived in March. He appeared in 19 regular-season games, during which he averaged 1.5 points across 3.6 minutes per contest.

The Knicks waived Ryan on Sunday. Ryan was waived by New York along with Jacob Toppin after signing a two-way contract with the club in December, allowing the Knicks to explore other options with their two empty two-way spots. The 27-year-old swingman never reached the double-digit mark in minutes during his 19 regular-season appearances with the Knicks, during which he averaged 1.5 points across only 3.5 minutes per game.
