President Donald Trump today dug up an old tweet from Rosie O’Donnell to prove a point about his firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Trump this afternoon responded to a five-month old Rosie O’Donnell tweet in which O’Donnell calls for FBI Director James Comey to be fired. Trump responded to this by saying that the two of them finally agree on something.

In recent days, Trump has been defending his decision to fire James Comey by pointing to the fact that Democrats previously criticized the FBI director and said he should be fired.

Rosie O’Donnell said in response, “[Comey] shoulda been fired when he threw the election – we see [Trump’s] motives now – TRUMP IS DONE 4 good.”

O’Donnell subsequently told MSNBC that this tweet is “a clear indication of his seriously declining mental health..this is no joke.”

This December 2016 tweet from Rosie O’Donnell had previously been pointed out by Donald Trump supporters on The_Donald, the Donald Trump subreddit.

Trump has been feuding with Rosie O’Donnell for over a decade now, and that feud did not slow down when he started running for president in 2015. In fact, one of the first things Trump did at the first Republican primary debate was make fun of O’Donnell; when Megyn Kelly said that Donald Trump regularly demeans women, Trump said, “only Rosie O’Donnell.”

The president’s feud with Rosie O’Donnell dates back to 2006, when O’Donnell mocked Trump on The View.

“[Trump] left the first wife — had an affair,” O’Donnell said at the time. “[He] had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend.”

Trump immediately shot back by calling O’Donnell a loser and threatening to sue her.

“You can’t make false statements,” Trump told People Magazine. “Rosie will rue the words she said. I’ll most likely sue her for making those false statements – and it’ll be fun. Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.”

Ever since, Trump has very regularly mocked Rosie O’Donnell on Twitter, sometimes at completely random moments. In one tweet from 2012, he starts off by insulting Cher but adds on at the end that Rosie O’Donnell is a loser.

In 2011, when Rosie O’Donnell began dating Michelle Rounds, Trump chimed in to say that Rounds’ parents must be devastated that their daughter is dating a “true loser.”

Rosie O’Donnell has had plenty of unkind things to say about Donald Trump, too. In January, she said that Donald Trump is mentally unstable and that martial law should be imposed to prevent him from being inaugurated. She also recently referred to him as “Satan.”

In September 2016, during the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Trump found a way to insult Rosie O’Donnell in front of an audience of 84 million viewers.

“Somebody who has been very vicious to me, Rosie O’Donnell, I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her,” Trump said.

This is the first time that Donald Trump has tweeted about Rosie O’Donnell since becoming president of the United States.
