Wilson recorded 71 tackles (39 solo) and a forced fumble while adding five passes defended, including two interceptions, over 15 games for the Cowboys in 2025. Dallas had one of the worst defenses in the league, but Wilson was still able to produce decent numbers, with his pass defended and INT totals tying his career highs. The veteran safety did miss two games in the middle of the season with an elbow injury and dealt with other nagging issues throughout the year, and at 30 years old there may not be a huge market for his services in free agency. Wilson (hip) has no injury designation ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. The 30-year-old from Texas A&M upgraded from limited practice Tuesday to a full go Wednesday, suggesting he's moved past his hip injury in time to play in Thursday's divisional matchup. Now fully healthy, Wilson will likely start alongside Malik Hooker to form Dallas' top safety duo in Week 17.

Wilson exited Sunday's loss to the Chargers with an eye injury, but it's the hip that's continuing to ail him. Wilson has played through the hip issue in recent weeks and appears to be on track to play Thursday against the Commanders.
