Ward recorded 31 tackles (15 solo) with 5.0 sacks across 17 games with the Titans in 2025. Ward joined the Titans on a one-year contract in the offseason and served as one of the team's top pass rushers. He logged a career-high 22 quarterback hits and matched his career-best sack total. Ward will be a free agent in March and should be able to land another short-term contract.

Jihad Ward: Breaking News
Disruptive pass rush in Week 9 loss
Ward logged four tackles (two solo), including 2.5 sacks, during the Titans' 27-20 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. Ward contributed to three of the Titans' six sacks Sunday, two of which were solo takedowns of Justin Herbert in the second and fourth quarters. The veteran pass rusher did not record a sack through the first six games of the regular season, but he has accumulated 3.5 sacks over his last three games while seeing more defensive snaps due to the absence of rookie second-rounder Oluwafemi Oladejo (leg - IR).
Signs with Titans
Ward was signed by the Titans on Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. With the surprising retirement of Lorenzo Carter on Tuesday, the Titans have signed Ward to try and fill the void of his loss. The 31-year-old Ward will now join his seventh NFL franchise after coming off a year in Minnesota where he appeared in all 17 regular-season games, tallying 10 tackles.
