If the starting right guard isn't able to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Lions, Luke Newman and Jordan McFadden will both be candidates to take his place along Chicago's offensive line.

Jackson (eye) has returned to Sunday's game against the Steelers, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports. Jackson went to the locker room in the second quarter to have his eye evaluated. He has been cleared to return for the third quarter and will reclaim his spot at right guard from Luke Newman.
