Austin Seibert: Breaking News

Misses Wednesday's practice

Seibert (hip) didn't practice Wednesday. Seibert made both of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts in Week 9's win over the Giants, but it now appears he picked up a hip injury in the process. Look for the Commanders to add another kicker to their practice squad or active roster if Seibert misses additional practices later this week.

Makes four field goals in win

Seibert made four of five field-goal attempts in Sunday's 18-15 win over the Bears. Seibert was a busy man again in Week 8, making four field goals for the second week in a row. His only miss came in the fourth quarter, mishitting a 51-yard attempt. Through seven games in 2024, Seibert has gone 23-for-25 on field-goal tries while making all 19 PATs he's attempted.

Busy in victory

Seibert made all four of his extra-point tries and both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 42-14 win over the Cardinals. Seibert has been perfect since taking over for Cade York in Washington and has stayed busy on the field. The Oklahoma product was successful from 45 and 38 yards out in the win, making him 10-for-10 on FGAs this season and 9-for-9 on PATs, in just three weeks of action.
