The Chiefs waived George (undisclosed) on Friday. George joined Kansas City as an undrafted free agent last May but ended up spending the entirety of his rookie campaign on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue. The 25-year-old cleared waivers on Monday and is now free to sign with whichever team he chooses.

George signed agreed to a contract with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent this offseason, but the rookie linebacker will now miss the entire 2025 campaign after being placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury.
