The 32-year-old missed wide right from 55 yards during the fourth quarter, but he otherwise converted from 40, 48 and 53 yards to help propel Jacksonville to a divisional victory. McManus has made a career-high 88 percent of his field goals this season, with two of his three misses coming beyond 50 yards.
The veteran kicker converted field goals from 25 and 30 yards during the second quarter and remains perfect on extra points this season. McManus is 20-for-22 on field-goal attempts this season, with both misses coming against the Texans in Week 3.
The 32-year-old put Jacksonville on the board with a 37-yard field goal during the second quarter, and that ended up being the team's only points of the game. McManus missed two field goals Week 3 against Houston but is otherwise perfect on 18 tries this season, and he also has yet to miss an extra-point attempt. If he's able to maintain this level of accuracy, the 90 percent hit rate would be the best of his career.
Jacksonville's offense struggled to finish its drives Sunday in Pittsburgh, but McManus came through with field goals from 51, 50, 38 and 37 yards build a lead. The 32-year-old is 18-for-18 on PATs and 17-for-19 on field goals this season, with 12 of those made field goals coming in the past five games.
