Mauch told reporters Tuesday that he's fully recovered from his knee injury, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports. Mauch appeared in just two games during Tampa Bay's 2025 campaign due to a knee injury, but it now appears he's moved past the issue. The 27-year-old is expected to operate the Buccaneers' top right guard during the 2026 season.
Tampa Bay general manager Jason Licht said Tuesday that Mauch (knee) is slated to be healthy for the start of training camp, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports. Mauch injured his knee in mid-September and missed the remainder of the 2025 campaign. Prior to getting hurt, he had started in 36 consecutive regular-season contests to begin his NFL career. Mauch figures to retake his starting role at right guard when the 2026 campaign kicks off.
Tampa Bay placed Mauch (knee) on injured reserve Thursday. In addition to Mauch, the Bucs also placed starting RT Luke Goedeke (foot) on injured reserve, meaning that for the time being, the team has lost its right side of the offensive line. However, while Mauch is expected to miss the remainder of the season, that's not the case for Goedeke, who will be sidelined a minimum of four games.
