The Steelers waived Edwards on Monday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports. Edwards signed with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent in April but is now headed to waivers. The 23-year-old could be brought back to the practice squad as Jaylen Warren and Jonthan Ward are both currently dealing with hamstring injuries.
