The Texans cut Arnette (ankle) from the practice squad Tuesday. Arnette has appeared in two games for Houston this season, logging a trio of solo tackles across 46 snaps between special teams and defense. He also dealt with an ankle injury last month.

The Texans waived Arnette on Saturday. Arnette was signed to the Texans' 53-man roster last Saturday and played 24 snaps on special teams in Week 10 against the Jaguars. He's appeared in two games for Houston this season, logging three solo tackles.

Out with ankle injury

Arnette (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 11 matchup versus Tennessee. Arnette appears to have suffered the injury at some point during practice, as he wasn't on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday before popping up as a non-participant Friday. The veteran cornerback has worked almost exclusively on special teams in the two games he's been active for this season.
