The Vikings waived Baldwin on Tuesday. Baldwin spent the entire 2023 campaign on Minnesota's practice squad and inked a reserve/future contract with the team back in January, but he'll now have to look for an opportunity to compete elsewhere. His lone NFL appearance came in one game with the Browns in 2022.
The Vikings worked out Baldwin just over a week ago, and they apparently liked what they saw enough to bring him aboard their practice squad. If Justin Jefferson is unable to play in Week 12, Baldwin could be elevated as soon as Monday versus the Bears.
