Felton was released from the Bears' practice squad Tuesday, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The 26-year-old signed to Chicago's practice squad Dec. 3 after getting cut by the team in August. Felton last appeared in an NFL regular-season game in 2022 with the Browns. He had eight carries for 20 yards and no scores across the 2021 and '22 campaigns, though he did catch 18 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns in 2021.
The Bears signed Felton to their practice squad Tuesday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports. The 26-year-old running back spent part of the 2024 offseason with the Bears before being cut in August. He latched on with the Colts for a few weeks but was let go ahead of Week 1. Felton joined the Colts on Aug. 12 and played in the final two preseason games, during which he accumulated 57 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries. The 2021 sixth-round pick could be invited back to the Colts' practice squad, or he could explore other options assuming he goes unclaimed off waivers.
