Meanwhile, both JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) and Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) received the same listing, while Demario Douglas continued to sit out due to the concussion that he suffered Week 12. The trio not named Douglas thus seem to have a chance to play Thursday in Pittsburgh, and Wednesday's practice report will reveal who among them is cleared for action or instead has a designation for that contest.

Limited Tuesday

Meanwhile, both JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) and Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) received the same listing, while Demario Douglas continued to sit out due to the concussion that he suffered Week 12. The trio not named Douglas thus seem to have a chance to play Thursday in Pittsburgh, and Wednesday's practice report will reveal who among them is cleared for action or instead has a designation for that contest.
Limited Monday with knee injury

Parker led the Patriots in targets (nine) and receiving yards (64) in this past Sunday's 6-0 loss to the Chargers, but he's nursing a knee injury in the aftermath of that strong performance. Fellow wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) was also listed as limited on Monday's estimate, while Demario Douglas (concussion) was a non-participant. With Douglas unlikely to suit up Thursday in Pittsburgh, Parker could remain the team's top wide receiver if he's able to shed this knee injury.
Best game of season in shutout loss

With fellow wide receiver Demario Douglas (concussion) sidelined, Parker worked as the top target for new starting quarterback Bailey Zappe. Parker led the team in targets and receiving yards while accounting for nearly half of Zappe's 141 passing yards. The veteran wideout just missed getting his feet down along the sideline on a deep ball on New England's final drive, but Parker still finished with his highest yardage total of the season. Parker should remain featured in New England's low-octane passing game Thursday against the Steelers.
Three catches in return

Parker returned from a two-game absence and finished second on the team with 42 receiving yards. He also accounted for the Patriots' two longest plays from scrimmage on catches of 19 and 17 yards. While it was a relatively positive performance, Parker has failed to top 50 receiving yards in all but one of his eight contests on the campaign.
Suits up Sunday

Parker last saw game action in Week 8 but following a two-game absence and the Patriots' bye week, the veteran wideout is ready to rejoin the team's pass-catching mix Sunday. In his second season with New England, the 2015 first-rounder has recorded 15 catches (on 25 targets) for 158 yards and no TDs in seven games, and in that context Parker's fantasy upside appears modest in his return to action in Week 12. At this stage, rookie Demario Douglas profiles as the most reliable lineup option among the squad's wide receivers.
Questionable for Sunday's contest

Parker hasn't seen game action since Week 8, but in the wake of the Patriots' Week 11 bye and a return to limited practices this week, the veteran wideout has a chance to return to action versus New York. Even though he didn't practice fully Wednesday through Friday, Parker could get the green light to play Sunday if he gains clearance from an independent neurologist at some point Saturday. In the seven outings he's played in this season, Parker has notched 15 catches for 158 yards and no touchdowns on 25 targets, a level of production that has thus far limited his fantasy lineup utility to deeper formats.
Logs limited practice

Parker last suited up in Week 8, but following the Patriots' bye week, a limited session Wednesday suggests that he could potentially return to action Sunday against the Giants. In seven games to date, Parker has recorded a 15/158/0 receiving line on 25 targets, a rate of production that limits the veteran wideout's fantasy utility to deeper formats.
Remains sidelined Thursday

Parker also missed practice Wednesday, clouding his status for Sunday's game against the Commanders. If Parker is unavailable this weekend, Demario Douglas, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Jalen Reagor could profile as the Patriots' top three wideouts, with Tyquan Thornton and Kayshon Boutte potentially seeing expanded roles behind the trio.
In concussion protocol

Prior to exiting Sunday's contest, Parker had logged 23 snaps on offense, while catching one of his two targets for 14 yards. It remains to be seen if Parker will be able to gain medical clearance ahead of this coming weekend's game against the Commanders, but either way once he's able to play, the 30-year-old (who has caught one pass in each of his last three outings) could be a candidate to see added targets, given that New England's top pass catcher Kendrick Bourne reportedly tore his right ACL versus Miami.
