Warren is now set to remain with the team after having cleared waivers, albeit on injured reserve. The rookie undrafted free agent will now be forced to miss the entirety of the upcoming campaign unless he's waived with an injury settlement.
The Steelers waived Warren (concussion) with an injury designation Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Warren is headed to waivers after having signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Lindenwood back in May. The 22-year-old will now look to get healthy and find another opportunity with a new team.
