Fant (knee) logged a full practice Wednesday. Fant missed Washington's Week 14 matchup against the Vikings with a knee injury, but it appears he's made a quick recovery. He should return to a depth tackle role in Sunday's game against the Giants.

George Fant: Breaking News
Out with knee issue
Fant (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. Fant hasn't spent any time on the injury report prior to this week, but he apparently suffered a knee injury during practice Thursday. He was unable to practice Friday and has now been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota.
Signs with Washington
Fant and the Commanders agreed on a contract Tuesday. Fant will head to Washington after being let go by the Seahawks in March. The offensive tackle has made 75 career starts with the Seahawks, Jets and Texans. He'll provide the Commanders with an additional veteran option behind starters Laremy Tunsil and Andrew Wylie on the offensive line.
