The Falcons released Arnold (undisclosed) from injured reserve Friday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports. Arnold was slated to miss the entire 2025 season after reverting to the Falcons' IR in mid-August. However, the injury settlement allows the 28-year-old safety to sign with another team once he's fully recovered from his injury. Arnold last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Texans, when he logged 18 tackles (12 solo) and one forced fumble over eight games.

Grayland Arnold: Breaking News
Sent to IR
The Falcons placed Arnold (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday. Arnold didn't play in Friday's preseason opener against the Lions. He spent last summer with the Steelers but was placed on injured reserve last August due to a calf injury. Arnold hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since 2023 with the Texans.
Works out with Atlanta
Arnold worked out with the Falcons on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Arnold spent training camp with the Steelers prior to the 2024 season, but he was sidelined due to a calf injury before being released. He's primarily been a special teams player since entering the league in 2020, and that will likely be his role once again if he finds a new opportunity.
