Isaiah McGuire: Breaking News

McGuire (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans. McGuire had his practice reps limited during Week 14 prep due to a knee injury, but the third-year defensive end has been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups. He has accumulated 29 tackles (17 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one forced fumble through 12 regular-season games.

McGuire (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. McGuire was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice before stringing consecutive limited sessions together to end the week. The consistent participation means the defensive end is likely trending towards suiting up for Sunday. If the 24-year-old is unable to go, Cameron Thomas would be in line to see more rotational snaps at defensive end.

McGuire posted seven tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, and two QB hits during the Browns' 24-10 win over the Raiders on Monday. McGuire got to Geno Smith twice during Sunday's win, with the former splitting sacks with Mike Hall and Cameron Thomas in the third and fourth quarter, respectively. McGuire's seven stops were a season high, and the third-year defensive end is up to 28 tackles (17 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one forced fumble through 11 regular-season games.
