Hankins finished the 2024 season with 30 total tackles (15 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and an interception over 17 games. Hankins built off of an impressive 2023 campaign with the Cowboys, appearing in all 17 regular-season games with the Seahawks in 2024, snatching his first career interception in the process. The 32-year-old is an unrestricted free agent heading into the offseason and he'll likely sign a one-year deal with his next destination for the fifth straight year.
Hankins recorded a sack in Seattle's 30-18 win over Arizona on Sunday. The veteran nose tackle has 25 total tackles (12 solo) and an interception in a limited role this season. Hankins played on 15 snaps Sunday, and he has not played on more than 40 in a game all year.
Hankins signed a contract with the Seahawks on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Hankins spent last season in Dallas starting 14 regular-season games and racking up 27 tackles (13 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and two pass breakups. His presence should strengthen the deep of Seattle's defensive line in 2024.
